For Prospective Graduate Students

January 2014

I am always interested in receiving applications from prospective PhD students who want to study the science and policy of ecosystem services, the impacts of climate change on ecosystem services and/or adaptation to climate change.

Graduate projects must address pressing environmental problems, combining basic ecological research with policy analysis.

I’m particularly interested in students who wish to work in either the US-Mexico transboundary environment or in the southwestern US and northwestern Mexico.

Prospective students are encouraged to contact me by email at any time throughout the year.  Please send a CV and a brief statement of your research experience and future career goals.  I like to meet applicants in person, so let me know if you live near or will be visiting Tucson in the near future.
