BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE


Agathe Euzen is research fellow of the Joint International Unit for Water, Environment and Public Policy (Unité Mixte Internationale Eau, environnement et politique publique), an agreement between the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) and The University of Arizona.

A specialist in environmental and water perceptions, urban water domestic’s uses and behaviors, Agathe Euzen received a doctorate in management, economy and social sciences from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and an Advanced Master's in Environmental Management from Higher Institute for Environmental Engineering and Management (ISIGE, Ecole des Mines de Paris, Ecole du Génie Rural des Eaux et Forêts et Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées).

Most of her research at CNRS has been done within the Pole de Recherche pour l’Organisation et la Diffusion de l’Information Géographique (PRODIG, France) where she has field research in France, in West Africa and in Latin America.
She is currently the director of the participatory research program on "Water perceptions in Paris" sponsored by CNRS and Water companies.

She is member of different research network, like “res-eau-ville” (Urban water research network) and has recently be appointed member of the Scientific Comitee of the French National Office for Water and Aquatic Milieux (ONEMA).
