Judith Gans
Program Manager, Immigration Policy

Judith Gans is Program Manager for Immigration Policy at the Udall Center for Studies in Public Policy at the University of Arizona. Her areas of expertise include U.S. immigration policy, economics, and Latin American development policy.
Gans has studied and written about various public policy topics related to immigration including citizenship and globalization, U.S.-Mexico immigration reform, immigration in a post-Sept. 11 environment, and historical perspectives on U.S. immigration policy.
After a career in business consulting and raising two children, Gans received her masters in public administration from Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government with a concentration in immigration and economic development She also received an MBA from the University of California at Los Angeles, and a B.A. in economics from Stanford University . She was raised in Mexico and Brazil and is fluent in Portuguese.
