In this talk, Dr. Adriana Zuniga described the role of green infrastructure in enhancing urban resilience and water security. Cities around the world are launching programs to green their cities; however, underserved populations in Tucson and other cities usually do not take advantage of these programs and incentives. Through community engagement, a team of researchers, NGOs, and university and high school students try to address these issues at Star Academic High School to make Tucson greener and more equitable.
