Arizona Journal of Environmental Law and Policy Call for Submissions

The Arizona Journal of Environmental Law and Policy (AJELP) is now accepting submissions of articles and comments for their spring and summer 2023 editions. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis.

AJELP is a student-run law journal published at the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law with a focus on environmental law and policy.

The journal's goal is to publish high-quality, interdisciplinary scholarship that bridges the gap between science, law, and policy. AJELP is particularly interested in articles that discuss the intersection of environmental, natural resources, energy, and water law and policy with Indigenous peoples' rights, Indigenous knowledge, and scientific research.

Submissions (along with a CV or resumé) can be sent to articles@ajelp.com or eic@ajelp.com for consideration. There is not a strict word limit but submissions are ideally under 60 pages.

Additionally, AJELP hosts a blog where they feature a wide range of pieces—personal essays, stories, legal explainers, updates on scientific research, policy arguments, etc.—so consider submitting any less-formal work that intersects with land and the environment to be featured there.
