January in Tucson Brings Accelerated, Masters-Level Learning to James E. Rogers College of Law

January in Tucson (JIT) is the flagship education event for the Native Nations Institute’s Indigenous Governance Program. 

In partnership with UArizona’s James E. Rogers College of Law, this intensive three-week education session brings together distinguished faculty, Indigenous leaders, Tribal professionals, community members, policy experts, and community members interested in learning actionable ways to empower Native Nations to practice self-governance and engage in nation (re)building in an academic environment designed to encourage crucial dialog and the sharing of ideas.

All 18 masters-level courses are open to the public regardless of their level of previous education, with the option to earn a Continuing Education Certificate for those who complete six courses or more. 

JIT also provides graduate students the unique opportunity to earn as many as 12 university credits over the course of the three-week program and offers up to 12 CLE credits* per course to attorneys barred in the State of Arizona.

The registration deadline for the 2023 courses is coming up at the end of next week so, if you’re interested in signing up, now is the time to act! Note: Grad students must register through UAccess.
