Water security through green infrastructure: A Case study on environmental justice in Tucson, AZ

In this presentation, Dr. Zuniga describes how green infrastructure can increase water security in cities, but also how this infrastructure is not evenly distributed in cities. Low-income underserved communities are usually deprived of green infrastructure and vegetation, in general. Their project Tucson Verde para Todos, led by Prof. Andrea Gerlak, explores the reasons why this environmental justice issue occurs in Tucson, Arizona through community engagement.
