Kirsten Lake provides program coordination for the Udall Center for Studies in Public Policy at the University of Arizona.  Prior to joining the Udall Center, Kirsten served as a program coordinator for a variety of University of Arizona programs, including the Chilton Lab at BIO5, Boyce Thompson Arboretum’s Legumes of Arizona project, and the Southwest Urban Integrated Field Laboratory. In addition to her work in project coordination, she has served as the editor for the journal Desert Plants and managing editor for the botanical reference book Legumes of Arizona: an Illustrated Flora and Reference. All of her work has been informed by her passion for science outreach and education. She has a BA in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and a MA in English as a Second Language with a research focus.
