Sara serves as NNI’s program coordinator and is affiliated with the Pascua Yaqui Tribe from the Old Pascua community. She holds a BS in Criminal Justice and Public Policy and Management from the University of Arizona and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Educational Leadership at Northern Arizona University. Sara's professional journey includes roles as a Program Coordinator at the University of Arizona THINK TANK with the Schedule for Success program, as well as an NNI Project Assistant during her undergraduate studies. She is deeply committed to advancing Indigenous governance and fostering the development of tribal nations.
